Dr. Hesbon Awando is a Senior Veterinarian, a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVM) from the University of Nairobi, a Master’s degree in public policy administration from Kenyatta University, and certification in Project Planning and Management from the Kenya School of Government (KSG). Dr. Awando has expertise in Livestock policy development, Animal Disease Control, Livestock Disease Surveillance and Reporting, coordination of animal clinical services and External Market Development, Quarantine, and Livestock Identification Traceability Systems management. He is also an active member of the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) and Kenya Veterinary Association.
