Dr. Karim Shamshudin is a veterinary surgeon with over 32 years’ experience in animal health and nutrition in East Africa. He holds a Bachelor\’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s of science degree in Medical Parasitology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has immense expertise in veterinary pharmaceutical and animal nutrition solutions manufacturing and distribution.

Dr. Karim has a proven track record of driving business growth having successfully led Vetcare Africa through periods of expansion, diversification, and increased market share over the past 32 years. Under his leadership, Vetcare Africa has consistently maintained high-quality standards in manufacturing processes. He has instilled financial stewardship, implemented cost-effective measures, improved profitability while ensuring sustained investment in product research and development. He is also an active member of Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) and Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA) where he has previously held seats on both boards.
