A light blue viscous suspension with a characteristic odour free from any visible impurities. Albendex 25 is a synthetic anthelmintic, which belongs to the group of benzimidazole derivatives with a broad spectrum activity against parasitic worms. It is effective against adult stages of liver flukes at higher dose levels.
INDICATIONS
Albendex 25 can be used for the prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in cattle, sheep and goats like;
- Gastrointestinal worms: Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Chabertia, Oesophagostomum, Bunostomum, Cooperia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp.
- Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus & Dictyocaulus filaria.
- Tapeworm: Moniezia spp.
- Liver-flukes: Adult Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
- Cattle: 40 ml per 100 kg B.wt
- Sheep & Goats: 2.5 ml per 10 kg B.wt
PRECAUTION
- Do not exceed the stated dosage.
- Do not use in animals at mating or during early pregnancy(1st trimester).
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
- Milk: 3 days
- Meat: 14 days

- Store below 30 C in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
