Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, with bacteriostatic action against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms (like Streptococci, Staphylococci, Pasteurella spp., Brucella spp., Corynebacteria spp., Erysipelothrix, Coliforms, Salmonella), Rickettsia, Mycoplasmas, Chlamydia and some protozoa. The advanced effect of this preparation is the extremely long therapeutic effect.
INDICATION
Effective in the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to oxytetracycline in Cattle, Camel, Sheep, Goats & Pigs. Vetoxy LA 20 Long Acting Injection is very effective in the therapy of Pneumonia, Haemorrhagic septicemia, Black quarter, Foot rot, Mastitis, Anaplasmosis, Brucellosis, Metritis, Pasteurellosis, Leptospirosis and Erysipelas. Also effective in the therapy of septic conditions during inflammation of the udder and uterus and other infections in buffaloes, cattle, calves, sheep and goats requiring parenteral administration of the drug.

CONTRA – INDICATIONS
Occasional sensitivity to Oxytetracycline has been known. In the event of drug allergy (anaphylaxis)
administer epinephrine (adrenaline) immediately. Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function. Concurrent administration of penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.
