Wormifas Mzito is a DOUBLE STRENGTH yellow coloured slightly viscous suspension with a characteristic pungent odour and free from any foreign visible particles.
INDICATIONS
Wormifas Mzito is a broad spectrum anthelmintic used in the control and treatment of gastrointestinal worms, lungworm and liver fluke infections in cattle, sheep & goats. It contains Levamisole which is the laevo-enantiomer of tetramisole and is an anthelmintic imidazothiazoles and Oxyclozanide which is a salicylanilide. It is effective upon oral administration against various species of nematodes. Levamisole action is characterized by paralysis of the worm through a neuromuscular inhibition of the depolarizing type, leading to passive elimination of the worm. It helps remove bowel tapeworm segments completely. Oxyclozanide disrupts ATP(energy)production in the parasite. It contains cobalt for improved growth and performance. Sodium selenite has antioxidant and antiiflamatory activity.
PRECAUTION
Wormifas Mzito is safe to use in pregnant and lactating animals. WORMIFAS MZITO can be used during vaccinations and treatment of other conditions simultaneously. At the normal WORMIFAS MZITO dose levels, animals rarely show any side effects. Occasionally, some animals may show slight scouring. The effects may be enhanced in animals with severe liver damage.
DOSAGE
For oral administration only. Shake well before use.
- Cattle: 12.5 ml per 50 Kg Body weight.
- Sheep and Goats: 2.5 ml per 10 Kg Body weight.

- Milk: 3 days
