Tylosin tartrate is an antibiotic of macrolide group and highly effective against gram-negative both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, Mycoplasma. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding 50s ribosomol subunit. It is a bacteriostatic antibiotic.
INDICATIONS
Tylosin tartrate is used for the treatment of infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Staphylococcus, B. Haemolytic streptococcus, non-haemolytic streptococcus, Brucella, Pastteurella, clostridia, klebsiella, Haemophylu, Corynebacterium, E. Coli and Salmonella) Mycoplasma, Spirochetosis and actinomycces. Rickettsia.
