A yellow fine powder free from impurities. It contains Oxytetracycline which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic mode of action. It binds reversly to 30s ribosomal subunit inhibiting protein synthesis and bacterial growth.
INDICATIONS
Vetoxy 5 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used in the treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible pathogens in calves, lambs, kids, pigs and poultry. It is also used for treatment of bacterial enteritis in calves, lambs, kids and pigs.
